“Good morning,” Trixie greeted. “Are you hungry?”

I shook my head with a yawn. “I just really need a cup of coffee.” She moved to get up, but I shook my head. “I can make my own coffee, Trixie, but thank you,” I told her. I knew she was sort of a mother hen around here, so it was second nature for her to instantly try to help someone.

She smiled up at me. “Come sit with us when you’ve got your coffee.”

I nodded at her and walked into the kitchen. Grim was leaning against the counter, eating a piece of toast. He looked at me as I made a beeline for the coffee pot. “Brett’s not up yet?” he asked me in surprise.

I shook my head at him. “I think he’s finally catching up on all of the sleep he’s lost the past few days,” I told him. “He’s sprawled across the bed upstairs, and he’s snoring.”

Grim nodded. “The man’s been stressed the hell out. He’s good at not showing it, but I’ve known him for years.” He inclined his head to me. “Brett cares a lot about you, Olivia. Men in this club love hard, but we can be assholes, too. You sure you’re ready for that with him?”

I instantly nodded. I wanted it all with Brett. He shrugged. “Then you’re alright in my book.” He walked out of the kitchen. I stared after him for a moment. That was the most I’d ever heard Grim talk – to me, anyway. He was always so silent, just watching his surroundings and taking everything in. Normally, if he needed to speak, Alex or Scab kind of did it for him.

Shaking my head, I turned back to making my cup of coffee. One of the things I admired about both this charter and the mother charter of this club was the love and the brotherhood all of these men shared. They didn’t hesitate to speak up, and each of them were extremely supportive of the others yet could still call a man out on his bullshit.

It was refreshing. I’d never experienced anything like it. All of these men and women from different backgrounds somehow came together and just lived in harmony.

I finished making my coffee and strode back out to the table where Grim had now joined Katyushka and Scab. She was sitting on his lap, and he was silently playing with a lock of her blonde hair as her and Trixie talked amongst themselves, though their conversations came to a slow halt when they noticed me.

“Brett’s not out of bed yet?” Trixie asked me. “Normally he’s up at five.”

I shook my head, but he spoke up from behind me. “I’m up,” he rasped, his voice still husky from sleep. He dropped into the chair beside me. Without a word, he grabbed my chin and pulled my lips to his for a soft kiss. “Morning, sweetheart.”

“Morning,” I quietly replied. I ran my eyes over his face. “You okay?”

He nodded. “Yeah. Just needed some sleep after the last few days.” That’s what I had figured. He inhaled deeply. “Fuck, coffee sounds great.”

I leaned over and pressed a quick kiss to his lips before I stood up. “I’ll make you a cup,” I told him. I pointed my finger at him when he reached forward to grab mine. “Keep your hands off of my coffee,” I ordered.

He grinned at me as he held his hands up in a surrendering gesture, but there was a wicked, mischievous gleam in his eyes. “Do I get punished if I touch it?”

I rolled my eyes with a heavy sigh, but I couldn’t stop the smile that twitched at my lips. He barked out a laugh. “I won’t touch it,” he promised.

I swear, Brett was something else.

Brett took my small bag of clothes from my hand. He reached up and grabbed the back of my head, pressing a kiss to my forehead. “I’ll go load this on the bike,” he told me. “Go ahead and say your good-byes. I don’t travel out here often, so it’ll probably be a while before you see the girls again.”

He strode outside. Lex threw her arms around me. I laughed as I quickly hugged her back, my heart swelling in my chest at her affection. “I’ll miss you,” she told me. “You’re so good for him. I swear, I don’t know how he trapped you,” she teased, “but I’m glad he did.”

I barked out a laugh, shaking my head at her. “You’re a mess, Lex.”

Trixie hugged me next. “Please be careful, and don’t hesitate to call me if you ever need a girl to talk to. My ears are always open,” she promised.

I gently squeezed her. Trixie was so sweet. It didn’t make sense how in the hell she ended up with a biker, but her and Alex were perfect together.

“I will,” I assured her. “Thank you for accepting me.”

She smiled at me. “The moment you walked in here with Brett, I knew you were going to be the one he claimed. It was just the way he looked at you, and you were so oblivious.” She laughed and shook her head. “I’m glad to call you family, Olivia.”

Katyushka was next. She smiled at me. “Your man almost gave mine a heart attack,” she teased.

I smirked. “Which one?” I shot back. She barked out a laugh and then quickly hugged me.

“Now I see why you and Brett are together,” she retorted when she pulled away from the hug. “His little smart ass remarks always get on my nerves. Good to know you two are alike.”

I grinned. “Can’t just say your man,” I teased, though I knew she was talking about Grim. “You’ve got two,” I reminded her.

She rolled her eyes. “Yeah, yeah.” Her smile softened. “Don’t become a stranger, yeah? It was nice having you here, Olivia. You’ll make the perfect old lady for Brett. Keep the fucker on his toes, will you?”

I smiled at her. “I will,” I promised.

Brett grabbed my hand in his, nodding once at Grim when he stepped out of the chapel. “We’re about to hit the road, Prez. Anything you need me to pass on to Copper?”

“Tell him the next time he lets you make a stupid decision – like going after a crazy fucker all by yourself – I’ll knock him off his goddamn throne.”

Brett grinned. “Will do. I’m sure he’ll appreciate that message,” he sarcastically stated.

Grim shrugged. “Don’t give a fuck,” he snapped. “Have Copper let me know when you two are back safe at the mother charter,” he ordered. “And ride smart.”

Brett nodded. “Always, Prez.” He looked down at me. “Ready to go? We need to hit the road.”

I nodded at him. He leaned down to softly kiss me before he led me out to his bike. Once I slid on behind him, he grabbed my hand in his and lifted it up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to my palm before he gently squeezed my hand and placed it back over his abs.

Once we hit the road, he lowered his left hand and gripped my knee, a silent way of showing his claim on me to the world.

  Brett

I quickly jerked Olivia out of Logan’s way. His fist connected with my jaw, knocking me back a couple of steps, though I had been expecting it. He then drew me into a brotherly hug. I laughed, working my jaw around. “Don’t you ever do some dumb, fucked up shit like that again,” he ordered. He pulled back. “Glad you’re okay, brother.”

I laughed as I clapped a hand to his shoulder. “Thanks for your help that day,” I told him, meaning it from the bottom of my heart. His help had made it extremely easy to take care of this shit.

He grinned. “Anytime, Brett.” He nodded at Olivia. “Glad he didn’t run you off, girly. Welcome home.”

She smiled at him in return. “Thank you, Logan.”

I grabbed her hand in mine and headed towards the stairs, knowing everyone would give us time alone to recuperate from the long ride up from Texas. Savage was asleep on the foot of my bed when I stepped into my room upstairs. He lifted his head and jumped down, rushing at me to get rubs and love. I laughed, quickly releasing Olivia’s hand to scratch behind his ears and pat his side.

“I’m going to get a shower,” Olivia informed me. “And then, I’m going to sleep for a few hours.” She yawned. “I’m so fucking beat.”

I pointed to the bed, and Savage obediently jumped back up and curled into a ball. I followed Olivia into the bathroom, watching her as she pulled her shirt over her head. I stepped up behind her, and our eyes locked in
the mirror.

I lowered my head, keeping our eyes locked together and lightly nipped her earlobe before sucking on it. A loud moan fell from her lips, and a gasp sounded from her right after I slid my calloused hands over the dip in her waist to yank her body back against mine.

I watched her as she closed her eyes, her lips slightly parting as I unsnapped her jeans and slowly slid my hand inside, rubbing my index finger over her clit, but with her panties still between my finger and that precious spot.

  “Brett,” she moaned.

“What, baby?” I rasped. “Tell me what you want.” I nipped at her neck. Her body shuddered against mine.

“I need – oh, God.” She whimpered when I began rubbing her clit in a circular motion. I locked my other arm around her waist, holding her up when her knees began to shake.

“This?” I roughly asked her. I slid my fingers inside of her panties and shoved them up inside of her. Fuck, she was soaked. “This what you want, sweetheart?” I growled.

“Yes,” she cried out. “Brett, please.”

I spun her around and claimed her lips as my own, easily coaxing them apart. Her hands gripped at my shoulders as she followed my lead, her chest heaving with anticipation.

She knew this was going to be a hard fuck, and her perfect, little body was more than ready for me to take her like a goddamn beast.

She shoved my cut off of my shoulders. I didn’t even care that it hit the floor. I was dying to be buried inside of her, to watch her beautiful face as she fell apart for me.

This woman owned me – heart and soul. There was no doubt in my fucking mind about that.

I pulled my lips from hers, but I moved them over her jaw, whispering soft kisses along the skin of her neck. I easily unclasped her bra and dropped it to the floor with my cut. She moaned as I dipped my tongue in the hollow of her neck where it met her collar bone. Her body trembled under my touch, subconsciously leaning towards me, a silent plea for more.

And I wasn’t the kind of man to disappoint my woman like that.

I yanked her jeans and her panties down her legs, and she kicked off her shoes as I did so, leaving her completely bare before me. Gripping her hair in my fist, I yanked her head back, covering her lips with mine again.

“Who do you belong to?” I growled against her lips.

  “You,” she breathlessly replied.

I sucked at her bottom lip, nipping lightly at it. I tasted blood, and I soothingly swiped my tongue over the cut I accidentally created. She moaned.

  “I didn’t hear you.”

“You, Brett,” she replied, louder this time. A rumble sounded from my chest in pleasure before I lifted her onto the bathroom counter. She squeaked when the cold countertop met her ass, but it was shortly followed by a soft mewl when I shoved her legs apart and dropped to my knees on the floor.

I licked my lips. She was so wet that she was glistening. I threw a wicked smirk up at her before I buried my face between her legs.

Olivia trailed the tip of her index finger over my abs, slowly following the indentations. I closed my eyes and tightened my arm around her, relaxing further into the mattress. This woman had a way of lulling me to sleep.

  “Brett?”

“Hm?” I asked as I lightly played with the ends of her soft, blonde hair. Seriously, how the fuck was her hair so soft all of the time?

  “Will you marry me?”

My eyes flew open in shock, my breathing momentarily stopping. Her hand froze on my abs. “What?” I choked out as I sat up. She slowly sat up as well, her gray eyes shining with sudden insecurity and nervousness. “You fucking serious, sweetheart?”

A dark blush stained her pretty cheeks as she slowly nodded her head, allowing her hair to fall over her shoulders to cover her burning, embarrassed face.

I laughed. Fuck, I expected I would one day pop the question – not my old lady. But damn if I didn’t love and appreciate her boldness. This woman of mine was something else, and I cherished that shit.

I brushed her hair back and gripped her chin, turning her head so her eyes were forced to lock on mine. “Yes; I’ll marry you,” I told her.

Her eyes brightened, her smile beaming at me. She squealed and threw herself on my lap, knocking us both off of the bed and onto the floor. I groaned in pain as my back slammed to the floor, but her giggles instantly brought a smile to my face. I wrapped my arms around her, holding her tight to me.

“You sure you want to spend the rest of your life with an outlaw, baby?” I asked.

She leaned up to look down at me. I gripped her ass in my hands, watching as her cheeks burned red. She nodded. “Yes.” She lightly trailed her fingers along the stubble on my jaw. “I want forever with you, Brett. We may be moving fast as hell, but every fiber of my being is telling me that this is right; I’m meant to be here with you.”

I sat up and drew her thighs around my hips before I gripped the back of her neck and pulled her lips to mine. “There’s no getting out of this, babe,” I warned her once I pulled back some. “Once your name is on that marriage certificate, only death will do us part.”

She brushed her nose with mine. “I love you.”

I reached up and cupped the side of her neck, brushing my thumb against her jaw. “And I love you, sweetheart.” I leaned forward and lightly brushed my lips with hers. “Until the end of time,” I promised.

  Brett

I slowly slid off of my bike, staring in horror at Savage. He was dressed in a fucking frilly ass tutu, and his nails were painted pink. Not to mention, there was a goddamn bow on the end of his tail.

“Olivia!” I shouted as I walked into the house, Savage trailing faithfully at my side.

“Yeah, babe?” she asked as she came out of the living room. Jayla squealed and ran over to me. I quickly lifted her up into my arms, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

“Olivia, why does my dog look like this?” I demanded, swinging my hand in Savage’s direction. The fucking beast was sitting beside me, his tail thumping on the floor, making the bow swing side to side.

She laughed, the sound warming my heart despite my horror at the situation. Savage was supposed to be what his name meant – fierce, violent, and uncontrolled.

Yet, he was walking around with a goddamn tutu. Don’t even get me started on the pink nails.

Jayla giggled. “Uncle Brett, I wanted to practice dress up on a doggy. I heard Daddy tell Momma that he was going to buy me a puppy today, which was why I had to come here, but shh,” she pressed her fingers to her lips, “I’m not supposed to know.”

I laughed, unable to help myself. I pressed a kiss to the top of her head. “Alright; it’s a secret. But you’ve got to help me turn my dog back into a beast. This girly thing isn’t going to work for him.”

She sighed but nodded. “Okay.” She looked up at Olivia. “Auntie Olivia, can I have some more juice? I have a lot of work to do.”

Olivia smiled at her before she strode into the kitchen. I pointed my finger down at Jayla. “Fix my dog,” I ordered.

She saluted me like the smart ass she was, which she definitely got from Copper. “Yes, Sergeant.”

I rolled my eyes, but a smile twitched at my lips. Olivia was pouring a cup of juice when I walked in, but she only filled it halfway, filling the other half with water.

“It keeps her from getting too much sugar,” she explained at my confused look. “Penny told me to do it.”

“Woman, I can’t believe you let her dress up my dog – and paint his nails!” I exclaimed.

She crossed her arms over her chest. I sighed. I had no idea what I’d done, but I had obviously done something to tick her off. I shoved my hands in my pockets. “Alright; what did I do this time?”

“You left the closet door open this morning, and your dog chewed up my fucking heels that I bought for the wedding.” Tears sprang to her eyes. I quickly pulled her to me, holding her tightly, guilt swirling in my gut. “We’re getting married in three weeks, Brett. It t
ook me months to find the perfect shoes, and now, they’re ruined.”

“I’m so fucking sorry, baby,” I whispered. I pressed my lips to the top of her head. “We’ll find them again; I promise.”

“It won’t be the same,” she hiccupped.

Fuck, I felt like such a dumbass. Savage had a bad habit of eating shoes. I’d never been able to break him of it, and eventually, I just got to the point that I kept my shoes put away where he couldn’t reach them. But I had been late for Church this morning, and in my rush, I’d left the goddamn closet door and the bedroom door open this morning.

“We’ll find those exact shoes again,” I promised. “I know it won’t be the same as finding them the first time, but you’ll have the shoes you picked out, at the very least.” I drew in a deep breath, knowing I was going to regret these words, but she had probably been stressing all day, not to mention I knew she had been stressed for the past couple of months as her and Penny busted their asses to make sure every single detail of our wedding was planned out. “I’ll wear the purple shirt.”

She jerked her head up to look at me, her beautiful, gray eyes beaming with sudden happiness. “Really?” she asked.

The fucking things I did for this woman.

I nodded. “If it’ll get you to stop crying, then yes, I’ll wear it.”

She grabbed my face in her hands and leaned up, planting her lips on mine. “You’re the best, Brett.”

I sighed, but a smile twitched at my lips. “I try, baby.”

Copper clapped me on my shoulder. I drew in a deep breath. “Brother, stop stressing,” Copper ordered, though he knew the demand would fall on deaf ears. “Just breathe. This woman asked you to marry her – not the other way around. She wants this with you, Brett. She’s not going to leave you stranded at the altar.”

“Yeah, but what if she suddenly gets a revelation and realizes that there’s a lot more for her in the world than just being an outlaw’s wife?” I asked him. I reached up to run my fingers through my hair, but Copper smacked my hands down to keep me from ruining it.
