Salvatore: A Mafia Romance Page 5
I whimpered, but it quickly turned into a shocked gasp when he pushed me against the wall, and he removed his finger, quickly gripping my wrists and pinning them above my head. My shocked eyes locked onto his darker ones, and I swallowed hard at the lust I saw in his eyes as he sensually ran his eyes over me.
Fuck, no man had ever looked at me like he did.
His hand quickly went back between my legs, and I felt his eyes on my face as my eyes fluttered closed, my lips parting slightly as he worked me up to an orgasm, the only sound in the bathroom being his slightly heavy breathing, my moans and whimpers, and the sound of the shower running.
Before I had the chance to come, he gripped my hips and lifted me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist as he thrust up into me. I clutched onto him as the world shattered around me, and my teeth sunk into his shoulder as he thrust in and out of me, making me cry out his name as I came over and over again.

I slowly rolled over onto my side, my eyes fluttering open to see a sleeping Salvatore next to me. It was still dark outside, and as I looked at the clock on his bedside table, I realized we still had almost six hours before we needed to be up for work again.
With a soft sigh, I quietly rolled out of bed, grabbing my house coat. I slipped it on and tied it around my waist as I quietly exited the bedroom, walking down the stairs to the kitchen. Not feeling much like sleeping, I took my glass of water into the living room where I turned on the TV, turning the volume down low as I began watching a random show on television.
I hadn’t realized that I had fallen asleep until I woke up to muscular arms gently lifting me from the couch, cradling me to a broad, warm chest. My eyelids slowly fluttered open as I looked up at Salvatore. He pressed a tender kiss to my forehead. “Go back to sleep, amore.” He told me softly.
“I didn’t mean to fall asleep.” I whispered, my words slurred since I was still mostly asleep.
“I know, mia preziosa.” He assured me softly.
I was back asleep before he finished ascending the staircase.

I sighed in aggravation as my desk phone rang for the fifth time that fucking morning, and when I answered, I scowled when I realized it was Salvatore’s lawyer calling for the zillionth fucking time that morning.
“I’ve already told you that he’s on an important conference call right now.” I snapped when I answered the phone.
“I understand that, Mrs. Reids, but I need to speak with Mr. Bianchi. This is urgent.” He told me.
I clenched my jaw, reminding myself that I needed to remember to let everyone know that I was now Mrs. Bianchi and no longer Mrs. Reids. Salvatore would flip his shit if he knew I still wasn’t using my married name. We may have only been in a marriage of convenience, but the man was possessive as fuck over me.
“Hold on.” I snapped into the phone.
I stood up from my desk and stormed over to Salvatore’s office, not bothering to knock as I shoved the door open. His eyes snapped up to mine, annoyance flashing in his eyes for a split second before he realized it was just me standing in his doorway and his expression softened.
“Hold for me.” Salvatore quipped into the phone before he set it down, giving me his full, undivided attention. “What is it, mia piccolo?” He asked me.
“I’m about to reach through the phone and shove your lawyer’s phone up his ass.” I snapped at him.
Salvatore arched an eyebrow at me, waiting on me to elaborate. I sighed in aggravation. “He won’t stop fucking calling, demanding to speak with you.” I explained.
“Tell him that I will call him back this evening, amore.” He looked at his watch. “And give me five more minutes on this phone call, and I will take you out for an exceptional lunch, alright?”
I nodded, stepping back out of his office as I walked back to my desk. As soon as I hung up the phone with his lawyer, my phone rang again, and I clenched my jaw, resisting the urge to throw it against the fucking wall.
I was not made to be a fucking PA, that was for sure.
“I swear to fucking God.” I snarled when I answered the phone, not giving a fuck that I was supposed to be professional with each phone call.
“I didn’t know I had anything to do with God, daughter, but it’s nice to know that you think of me so highly.” Pops’s voice rang through the line, chilling the blood in my veins as my hand tightened around the phone.
Nausea made my stomach churn, and I drew in a deep breath. “I don’t know how the fuck you keep getting through.” I snarled.
“Your tone really pisses me off, little girl.” He snapped. “My patience is wearing thin, Sasha. I know you haven’t even begun the process of the divorce. Remember my warning.”
“Burn in hell.” I snarled, forcing my voice to stay strong despite the fear rushing through my veins, almost crippling me.
Pops chuckled. “The day I go to hell, Sasha, you’ll be burning with me.” He told me.
I slammed my phone down onto the receiver and dropped my face into my hands, drawing in deep, shaky breaths, desperately trying to swallow down the nausea.
"Amore, talk to me.” Salvatore commanded gently, his presence instantly calming me.
I looked at him, drawing in a shaky breath. “C-can we just go home?” I asked him quietly.
He sighed softly. “I’m afraid not, tesoro. I have a lot of work to catch up on. What’s going on? What happened?” He demanded to know.
“Pops called me again.” I admitted. Rage flickered in Salvatore’s dark eyes. I swallowed hard. “He knows I haven’t filed for a divorce yet. He’s growing impatient.”
Salvatore wordlessly lifted me from my office chair and strode back to his office, nudging his door shut behind him. He settled onto the couch in his office and settled me on his lap. “That man will not get his hands on you, nor will he get his hands on any of the famiglia, mia bella."
“Can you promise me that?” I asked him quietly, knowing he couldn’t.
"Hai la mia parola." He spoke in his native language. When I only arched an eyebrow at him, he cursed softly. “You have my word, mia moglie." He assured me.
I turned around in his lap so that I was straddling him, my hands sliding across his shoulders to wrap around his neck. His hands settled on my hips instantly, his eyes flaring with desire as he swept his eyes over me. He knew exactly what I wanted, and I knew he would deliver.
“Can I have a distraction for a while?” I asked him quietly.
With a low growl, he wrapped a hand around the back of my neck and yanked my lips down to his, his kiss quickly dominating mine as he wrapped his other arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him so that I was flush against him. We were pressed so tightly together that I couldn’t remember where his body ended and mine began.
I pulled back quickly, wanting to feel his hard, defined muscles beneath my hands. I managed to get his suit jacket off of him, but my hands were fumbling with the buttons on his shirt. With a muttered curse, I yanked his shirt open, the buttons popping and flying off. He chuckled softly, watching me as I sighed softly when my hands ran over his toned chest and strong shoulders, his body shuddering under my touch.
He quickly undid the buttons on my shirt, pushing it off my shoulders, my bra following right after. His hands molded my breasts, drawing a moan from my lips. He stood up quickly, striding over to his desk with me wrapped around his body. He pushed everything off of it, setting me on top of the wooden desk. He quickly pushed my skirt up my hips, his hands quickly ripping my lace thong off of me.
His eyes met mine heatedly. “You better let me know now if you don’t want me to fuck you hard.” He informed me. “I’m not going to be gentle, amore.” He warned me.
“Please.” I begged him softly, watching as his eyes flared with pure, unadulterated desire for me.
I needed him to become the savage man that I knew laid beneath his soft exterior.
He quickly undid his slacks and in one quick thrust, he
was buried deep inside of me. He gripped my shoulder with one of his hands, and with his other hand, he gripped the back of my right knee tightly, pushing it back so he was able to go deeper.
And he did. He fucked me hard. He was ruthless, letting out his frustration and anger.
But it felt fucking amazing.

I sighed tiredly as I looked over at my wife sleeping peacefully on the couch in my office, her messy hair spread out around her. She was wearing one of my dress shirts that I kept in my office for nights I stayed here instead of going home, and a pair of my sweatpants that I also kept here to sleep in. Though it was the oddest combination of clothing, and on anyone else they would probably look homeless, Sasha looked fucking breathtaking.
But I imagined that she would look absolutely beautiful in anything she wore.
I looked down at my desk, a smirk twitching at my lips as I remembered fucking her hard. I had been so worried that I had hurt her, but she had only begged me to take her again.
Fuck, I was getting hard again.
I was falling hard for this woman, and she was making it incredibly easy to want to be with her long term. I mean, fuck, she was fucking sweet and adorable. I loved how much she cared about my family. Famiglia meant everything to the mafia. Something had told me that I wouldn’t regret making her il mio, and I was happy that I wasn’t disappointed.
She was everything I had ever wanted and needed in a wife, and then more.
Vincent stepped into my office, his lips twitching in amusement as his eyes landed on Sasha. “You two really can’t help yourselves, can you?” He asked, speaking in our native tongue.
I shrugged, not bothering to respond to him, knowing he was only looking to get a rise out of me. “I’m going out of the country to Italy for a couple of days to seal a business deal. I need a place for Ashley to stay while I’m gone. I don’t trust her to be by herself.” He informed me, continuing to speak in our native language.
I looked up at him, a scowl settling over my features. “And you think I trust her in my home around my wife?” I snapped back at him in Italian.
He sighed. “Look, brother, I know it’s not the most ideal situation, but father is ready to rip her head from her shoulders for what she did, Bianchi baby for not. So, I can’t leave her at Madre’s and Padre’s.”
I clenched my jaw. “Two nights, brother.” I warned him.
He nodded in understanding. “I’ll bring her by in the morning.” He informed me. “And I’ll try to cut this trip shorter if possible.”
I just nodded, watching as he walked back out of my office. I released an aggravated sigh and thrust my hands through my hair.
I looked over at my peacefully sleeping wife, clenching my jaw.
I swear, if Ashley caused any shit with my wife, she would have hell to pay.

I walked into the kitchen the next morning on autopilot, my housecoat wrapped around my body and a pair of house slippers on my feet as I followed the smell of coffee.
“Good morning, sorellino." Vincent spoke up from the bar where he was sitting with Ashley.
“Coffee.” I grumbled, ignoring him.
Salvatore strode into the kitchen wearing a pair of jeans that rode low on his hips and a plain black t-shirt, his hair wet from his shower. I swallowed hard at the sight of him in normal clothes.
Fuck, this man was too damn good looking for his own good.
He pressed his lips to my forehead. “Take a seat, amore. I’ll get your coffee.” He told me.
With a small smile in thanks, I walked around to the bar, settling on the bar stool beside Vincent. “Why is she here?” I grumbled, still not fucking liking her, especially after finding out she had betrayed the Bianchi family.
“She’s staying with us for a couple of nights.” Salvatore informed me.
“She’s what?” I snarled, suddenly more awake after the bombshell he had just dropped on me.
"Tesoro -” Salvatore began, but I interrupted him.
“You didn’t think to discuss this with me before you made this decision?” I snapped at him. He released a soft sigh, waiting for me to finish my rant. “She fucking not only betrayed you and this entire family, Salvatore, but you fucking slept with her.” I snarled. “You expected me to be okay with this?”
"Amore, it is only to protect this baby. None of us trust her. Vincent needs to go to Italy for two nights for a business deal, and then he will be back to take her back home.” Salvatore said gently, trying to soothe my rising temper.
I got up from my bar stool and pointed a stiff finger at Ashley. “Fuck up once in this house, and I swear to you that I will make your life a living fucking nightmare.” I snapped at her.
She clenched her jaw, but kept her mouth shut like an obedient little girl. Salvatore suddenly gripped my hips and turned me to face him. He gently pushed me back against the counter before he cupped my jaw and soothingly pressed his lips to mine. My temper instantly evaporated as I relaxed, kissing him back instantly.
He slowly pulled back and placed a warm cup of coffee in my hands afterwards. “Go upstairs, and get a shower, mia moglie.” He instructed gently. “Breakfast will be ready when you come back down.”
With one last cold glare at Ashley, I went upstairs.

I rubbed my eyes tiredly as I stared down at the stack of papers in front of me. They were some of Salvatore’s files that I knew needed to be retyped and reorganized, but I was so damn tired of working.
He had gone into the office for a few hours even though today was Saturday, and after assuring him that I would be fine alone with Ashley, he left, assuring me that he would be back as soon as possible.
I slowly looked up from the floor where all of Salvatore’s papers were strewn around me, arching an eyebrow at Ashley who was standing in the door frame of the bedroom.
“Can I help you?” I asked coolly, not particularly wanting to indulge in any kind of conversation with her.
“Someone is on the house phone.” She informed me. “It didn’t seem like you were hearing the phone, so I answered it.”
Sighing in agitation, I stood up from the floor, shutting and making sure to lock mine and Salvatore’s bedroom door behind me as I did so. I didn’t trust her to not go snooping through our room while I was downstairs.
I jogged lightly down the stairs and picked up the phone on the small table by the staircase, putting it to my ear.
“Sasha speaking.”
“Sasha.” My mother breathed through the line. My face paled, and I swallowed hard, gripping the staircase banister tightly. She was the only person in my family who could make me second guess my actions and have me turning back home. “It’s been a few years.” She said softly.
“Four years if you want to be specific.” I snarled quietly, forcing myself to be angry. I wouldn’t – couldn’t – succumb to whatever bullshit she decided to feed me.
“Baby girl, you have to know that if I could have done things differently -” She started, but I cut her off.
“My whole fucking life could have been different had you just made the right decision from the very beginning!” I shouted down the line, squeezing my eyes shut as I drew in a sharp breath, forcing myself to calm down. “You’re twenty-two years too late.” I snarled.
“Sasha, please, I just need you to hear me out -”
“I have nothing to fucking say to you, and there’s not a fucking thing that you can say to me that will make me want to talk to you.” I barked, hating the roller coaster of emotions rushing through me. There were so many of them that they were just colliding into each other, creating a catastrophe of a disaster inside of my mind and heart.
“I left him, baby. I left your father.”
My hand tightened around the staircase banister as I squeezed my eyes shut once more, desperately wanting to believe her words, but not trusting them.
/> “I don’t believe you.” I told her. “Don’t fucking contact me again. If you knew what was good for you, you would never fucking even think about me again.”
With that, I hung up the phone, storming back up the stairs. I could feel Ashley’s gaze on my stiff back, but I ignored her presence like I had been doing all day and rushed into mine and Salvatore’s room, shutting and locking the door back behind me as I did so.
I stripped out of my clothes and stepped into the shower, turning the water onto a blistering hot temperature, clenching my fists as I fought against the memories. Tears flooded my eyes and trickled down my cheeks, mixing with the scalding shower water.
I was twenty-two years old. I had survived prison. I had survived being beaten to within an inch of my life numerous times.
So, why did my heart still shatter every time my mother told me stupid things like I left him, but I knew they weren’t the fucking truth?
I slid down the shower wall, bringing my knees up to my chest as I dropped my face into my hands, crying as the water poured over me.
Family was supposed to have meant everything, but my brother had taken off running when I had been snatched up by that fucking biker club. My mother had watched time and time again as my father beat the ever-living fuck out of me over and over for the simplest, stupidest mistakes.
My father was supposed to love me and adore me, but instead, all of my life he had done nothing but beat the fuck out of me for every wrong move I made and made me regret ever being fucking born. He hadn’t showed up to my trial - none of them had.
All except Mom.
She’d actually shown up - had been the only one there to support me. I had watched her sit in the back of the court room and cry as they claimed me guilty of all charges being pressed against me. Her arms had been the last ones to wrap around me before they carted me off to sit in a plain brick building for four fucking years, getting the shit beat out of me inside, fighting tooth and nail to stay alive in that shit hole.
